Bicycle Mechanics - Campy caliper/lever compatability?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. I have a pair of newish Veloce calipers I'd like to substitute on my Gitane for the Cobaltos that are on there. (The rear Cobalto's adjuster is seized, the stones are missing, etc. I intend to keep them for a box to be put back on at a later time.)

I am wondering if it's possible to use the C-Record levers (which are aero levers but which are intended for use with a single-pivot caliper, not dual-pivots) with the Veloces. Or do I need a more modern Campy lever?

Nup, the cable pull of the old and the new will be pretty similar.

If it helps, I'm using Record Ergo levers with Record Delta brakes with no problems.
