i've only been riding for a couple weeks and im improving pretty fast, but i could never find any info about crank flips as in what they are. i just jump up and flip my pedals back and catch them when they come around. i dont bunnyhop, just jump up. also... i just ride around a neighborhood with curbs and nice lipped curbs and ride alone because nobody around here rides bmx, theyre all mountain bikers... any ideas for creative cool stuff to do as a beginner? espeically with awsome lipped curbs. oh also, i can bunny hop reasonably for now, but when i pick up some speed to jump over something small even like a sewer or something, i can jump it but its a really weak bunnyhop. is it just alot harder to do it faster? or is it all mental?

Curb endo/hang nothing would be a cool trick. Just run into a curb, get the back wheel off the ground, and take your feet off the pedals. Be sure to get a video if you try that without learning some basics first :|

Bunny hops are hard to do well, but easy to start with... eventually you want to get the front wheel up pretty high first, then pick the back wheel way the hell up and tuck the bike under you to clear obstacles and hop onto things.

A no-footed curb endo is not at all the same thing as a hang ten.

Well, at least I didnt make up some obscure name for a trick, say that, and proceed not to give any explanation of what the hell I meant.

when you are jumping up to something or over something its said that you jump higher...and as far as those curbs...there alot of fun when you have no ride to the skatepark...try manualing them since their narrow thell keep you busy and trying and trying to stay on....as for crank flips....you just kick your cranks around either half way so you land goofy footed or back to your regular foot first (wear pants...especcially if you have big pins in your pedals, or else you end up with some nice stiches [and they dont come in colors so it sucks and you cant ride])

for kickflips i put the toes of my back foot on the pedal, and the middle/heel of my front foot on the pedals. i jump, kick down with my back foot and kick back with my front foot
