General Cycling Discussion - What kind of pedals do you use?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Two sets of M515's and one set of 536's. I also have a set of Koski Revolver SPD compatible pedals but don't use them. Tried them once and nearly killed myself. :)

Flats with no clips. While I probably wouldn't use them anyways (I hate being attached to high speed objects) , I have also yet to find them in my size.

I would guess most of us have more than one bike. I can't vote, as they are different.
Road Bike - Look
Mtn Bike - Toe Clips
Wife's road and mtn bike - platforms.

Shimano 515's. Got double-sided so I wouldn't have to worry about which side to clip in to.

Road: Look PP396
Cyclocross: Shimano M515
MTB: Ritchey Logic [but they work well with the Shimano cleats]

i think i have decided that i will get m515 to just place my toe clips on the road bike. but i heard there are clipping and unclipping problems. what are they and how can they be remedied. i was gonna get rithcey road logics but they were drunk and weighted them the wrong way so thats no good.
I couldn't vote because I have SPDs on my commuter (Shimano M535) and Look pedals on my Litespeed.
The SPDs are great for someone who is just learning to ride clipless. Double-sided entry. :)
The Look pedals (single-sided) have a larger platform area and I can get more power transferred from my legs/feet to the pedals (?? I hope ;) ).

look pp296's. they are old already.
Lets see:
On the trail bike I use either spd's or platform.
On the "freeride"/ urban bike I use platform.
On the BMX "street" / dirt jumping bike I use platform.
On the road bike I use Time.
My wife uses the Shimano spd's with a platform around them on her mountain bike.

SPD's: One pair of M515's and one pair of Ritchey v2's. I also have a still-working set of Wellgo SPD clones that came off a bike I sold.

I'm looking to swap over to eggbeaters on all my bikes, once they perfect the road cleat.
sets of 515's and a set of 737(?) inlaws have 4 sets of 515's,2 sets of nashbar clipless(thy're not the greatest) and 2 sets of flats and 2 sets of some kind of road clipless(don't know much about them). We love the 515's,they work really well.

Road : Looks...don't ask me what model...all I know is they don't make them anymore...
Track: Toeclips (!)
Let's see, 3 pair of Looks the only model # I know is the newest PP296 though I'm going to put Campy Record on one of those bikes. My fixed gear is retro Campy SL with clips.
