I'm going on a two-week vacation, starting this weekend. I was really hoping to visit a bike shop and order an Axis to ride the second week and take home with me. I e-mailed the local bike shop and they don't have an Axis to fit me in stock. They said they could get one in a "couple of days."
I've heard the Axis is popular and sells out early. I've never ordered a bike at an LBS before. What are the odds I could get one in a week? Within two weeks? Any ideas?
Thanks,
Bob

Well it depends. When I checked stock a few weeks back the middle sizes were in stock and depending where you are in relation to their warehouse the max (I've seen) it takes is 7 work days.
If you need me to check stock tomorrow at work let me know!
Arsbars,
Thanks for offering to help. A dealer here in vacationland (CapeCod, MA) is ordering one Tuesday in hopes it will be here by next Tuesday (from the Bianchi West Coast warehouse to the East Coast). In the mean time, I'll keep fly fishing for stripers.
I'm psyched!
