Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - Khs: 1, Suv: 0, Me: -1

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Yay for the KHS aero track! Boo to the Lincoln Navigator!
Hope your hand is ok.

I hear you can see those cars from space. put ice and pressure on your hand, you'll be glad you did. Also, start putting small stickers of cars on your top tube for every crash you have, ala WWI fighter aces.

Rough!
That's kind of a "quirky" corner there. I usually have a problem from the opposite direction, coming down Boylston from Tremont through the little curve there. I slingshot through the corner and everyone is gunning for the parking garage not realizing how fast you can come off Boylston there.
Anyhow, is this counterpoint to the I-hit-a-car-and-damaged-my-velocity-rims-OMG! thread? ;)
PS: did you at least get the guy's insurance info? In these sorts of situations, the best thing to do is to trade info (either get his insurance info or license info) and if you're feeling ok, say something along the lines of, "Thanks for your concern. I think I'll go to the doctor just to have things checked out." Insurance companies (and lawyers if it comes to that) can be real pricks if you say things like, "I'm ok." Or, "Don't worry about it."

yeah, take care of that hand.
if you have a tuning fork, you can tap it to make it ring and put the end--the nonvibrating part--against a bone in yr wrist. if you feel a real strange kind of tingling at certain parts of yr bones, that very well may be a hairline fracture.
some health foods stores that have herbal medicine sections have stuff called "trauma oil"... that can be real goo for bruises, sprains, breaks and other musculoskeletal injuries, as long as you don't put it ono broken skin.

Beware of the cars with little bike stickers on the fender. :)
