Hi folks, I recently picked up a vintage Russian-made Ti mountain bike that's fitted with a cheapo Kalloy single bolt seatpost in 27.3... Odd size; I know. I'm wanting to replace it with something like a Syncros 2 bolt post.
After doing a Google search for 27.3 and Syncros, I saw a post on another forum where someone mentiond buying a Syncros post that size. Did they in fact make one in 27.3? Did anyone else make a good post in this odd size? Thanks!

you mean 0.1 mm, right? that's one tiny shim.
so tiny that you probably won't even need it.

You mean, 27.2? For .1mm, no shim should be fine. If you need, you can use a little bit of a beer can, but .1mm is almost NOTHING. I bet seatposts/seattubes have more random variation than that...

I'd go with 27.2 and a quick wrap of Teflon plumber's tape... but I'm cheap ;)
