Has anyone used one that works on a FG bike? The Park cleaning doohickey that I have for my road bike (yeah, I own ONE bike with gears) requires that the chain have some slack to wind around the various brushes. I don't feel like breaking the chain every time and I don't seem to get it REALLY clean just wiping and spraying with simplegreen.

The parktool chain cleaner I have runs pretty much straight through. Unless Im winding it wrong? Definitely seems like it would be functional on a fixie.

I also pass the chain straight through my park cleaner. See the helpful picture. I always remove my chain for cleaning because 1) I tend to catch my fingers in things and 2) I like to clean the cog and chainring when I clean the chain.

The one thing about the park tool thing is that I still get solvent dripping on my floor. I mean its not bad, but the tool gives me this sense of mechanical perfection that suggests it would not drip and my expectations are smashed every time.

Has anyone ever used a hairdryer to dry a chain after cleaning? Chance of fire? ;)
