Anybody going to the Prairie State Tandem Rally in Decatur, IL this weekend (June 3,4,5)? My wife and I are making the ride. We had a ball last year.

Yup, my wife and I will be there along with our daughter, son-in-law and their two little girls. We'll be wearing our new Mule Team jerseys.

Rode PSTR last year. This year we are hiding out in Logan, Utah for the summer.

Sounds like you are bringing your own peleton!
My wife and I will be on our Santana Noventa. Our daughter and her 4 year old will be on a Burley Rock & Roll with a child stoker kit. The son-in-law will be on a Raleigh road bike with a Burley trailer for the 1 year old. That's three generations of tandem riders. If that's not enough to call a peleton, we'll bring along a few additional teams from St. Louis with us.

I might have talked to you last year. At least I talked to someone with a Noventa before the Saturday ride. My wife and I bought a new Noventa in the Spring of 1992 and sold it last Spring. My wife really loved that bike. We put a lot of miles on it. Beautiful frame.

Last year's PSTR was great. We came all the way from Arizona to do that event. A smaller, more intimate group than the big rallies with 500+ teams in attendance.
