Mountain Biking - When you look at this bike...

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
...whats the first thing that comes to mind? If the designer asked you for "feedback" what would you say?

When I look at that, I think of Banshee bikes..?
Does it look small? Like it was designed for kids?

Looks like a DH hardtail to me... 24" double tracks (i think 24), nice fat downhill tires. Fork should be a dual crown...

I'd say, "nice bike but why the short wheelbase?"

It looks way out of proportion to me, but I ride a really long FS XC bike.
I have heard good things about the hydro discs, but I have the avid mechs, and I have never felt like I needed anything more.
The smaller things on the bike are nice like the chain guide and rims.
But the frame looks abit too beefy for a dirtjumping kinda bike. I just dont like beefy jumpers.
Also the fork is abit dodgy. I'm not sure if its a stance or a sherman by the pic. But i definetly recommend a marzocchi dirt jumper 1 or 2 fork for it cos of the big drop outs and crown on them.

24 Inch wheels are used all the time over here for dirt jumping, ive heard that on the other side of the pond 26 is used more...
Too me it looks nice, i love shermans anyway, and the 24 inch wheels will make it very nice in the air, as Madman said, a DH hardtail..

I'd say, "nice bike but why the short wheelbase?"
Pic could be disproportioned.
Looks fine to me. No worse than any other fr ht. :)...

Yeah 26" is way more popular. 24" imo is a bmx cruiser size not a mtb. Its also most people who dj also ride trails and 26" is way better for that.
Although I had a friend who could ride any trail on the mountain on his letoy with 24" wheels :)
