Hi, all!!! My name is vei, I'm doing the pacific coast bike trip starting this Saturday. Wanted to stop by and introduce myself a few weeks ago, but had computer issues. I'm doing my trip on a Trek 520. I started biking in 1996, and have covered close to 40,000 miles since. I was(and still am a bit) a big guy. When I started biking, I weighed over 300lbs. I could barely ride 1 mile without a break.. Times have changed, my wife now calls me the Camel. I have been known to ride 70 miles or so without stopping. I am so excited to take this trip.. If there is any interest, I would post to this board somewhere during my travels... Thanks to everyone for having these boards..
