Hi...I'm just in the process of choosing and buying my first road bike, and I've pretty much decided on a bike that has a cannondale cad 3 frame, and ultegra and 105 components. the bike costs US$1150...do you think it's a good deal? are the 105 and ultegra components reliable? thanks.

the Ultegra and the 105's are very reliable as for the frame i have no idea, the ultegra groupo, is around $6 to 7 hundred so for the price of $1,150.00, I think you have a good price

The caad3 frame is on the bottom of cdales food chain for 2002 and may not even exist in 2003. the current caad 3 does not come equipped with 105/ultegra.So If its used, keep looking.
