I have a TREK Liquid 55 and I really like it!! One problem though. A standard quick release will not work on the seat post due to space limitaions (small frame). I want to be able to quickly adjust seat height and have not found a reasonable solution yet. Has anyone ran into this problem and fixed it? If so please let me know. Thanks
You could always try out one of these. It's not cheap though.

Hey thats neat. Old design applied to bikes. Thats awesome. Same concept as office chairs.

I take it you did not see my reply in the racing forum.
This might work for you, Titec colasable seatpost (http://www.cyclingreviews.com/reviews/knock_scoper.php)

I saw your reply.....Thanks
I checked it out and the Titec approach looks definetely workable. I wanted to post off of the MTB Racing area and see if there were additional options in the general MTB area.
I came up with an extremely light weight option through a friend who's buying a TIG welder...........could be fun.
Thanks again
