Hi other bike minded people. I'm sitting in sunny Spain writing this introduction.
I suppose my first foray into 2 wheel activities was my birthday present 10 speed CCM as a child living in Toronto. However a somewhat tramatic and unfortunate accident when I went over a speedbump with no hands, was my first introduction to cycling mishaps. From there I went to being completely molested after inadvertantly causing a pile up of Italian male cyclists by a bad negotiation of a small laneway (my terrible spatial awareness!) whilst on holiday in Holland. However that all turned around when I became introduced to cycle touring (I am an obsessive traveller - it helps I am a travel writer and photographer). Intent on impressing my intended prey (I mean boyfriend now husband (see it worked!) I proposed cycling down the east coast of Australia by bike, we then went on to cycle from london to Turkey, Central America, England and now we are located in Spain (after cycling here of course!). It first became an addition and now a job as we run a cycle tour company and are now lucky enough to spend a lot of hours on the bike!
I look forward to hearing what the rest of you are up to!
Cheers, Mags

There is NO way that could have been inadvertant. I just simply don't believe you. The opportunity to cause a pile of male Italian cyclists to pile upon your prone body is NEVER an accident. It is an act of GOD (Praised be His name!).

;) :d :D
