Does anyone know were on the web I could find some hi-rez mountain bike images?
I work for a design agency and we need to hang some poster and banner samples in the lobby.
Wbetter to hang than some nice biking action shots!?!?

Any help is appreciated!

Neither of those links have high resolition images. You are not going to get a poster print from an 600x800 jpg file.

As a hobbyist photographer that sometimes visits photography related fourms...I am surprised that a design frim would not be familiar with the issues regarding ripping images from the net.

If your plan was to purchase images, perhaps a web search will bring up some MTB photographers web sites that are selling prints.

You could try www.pbase.com and search for images...still be sure to contact the photographer regarding useage

You could try emailing him. He has backed out a bit from mountain biking it seems but he is king of photography. He really captures the moment for a cyclist. He used to hang out here and his name was Bak. I miss his photographs. They are untouchable imo. He will have hi res pics I assume still around he might be willing to release/sell. They will be worth it.

I do have access to several different on-line stock photography websites but was unable to find any good mountain biking shots that I liked. I thought I would ask this forum as you guys always have answers and/or great advice and ideas. I'm not looking to steal anyone's work but I thought there may be some sites that offer some hi-rez samples for free download.

Thanks for you help!!

I doubt you are going to find hi res images for download free from any photgrapher doing it as a business but if you find something you like at any of these links...I will send you the hi res file...I shoot with a Canon 10D

You might try www.petefagerlin.com (http://www.petefagerlin.com) and look in the "norcal riding" and "roadtrips" sections for photos. I don't know him, so I don't know what his response will be, but it can't hurt to ask if he'd be willing to give or sell you some high resolution copies of some of his shots.
