My front Suntour Superbe hub is a little rough when it turns. It almost feels like it's griding a bit.
What could be the cause?
What could be the fix?

i haven't needed to crack mine open yet... but i would assume a simple cleaning, lubing and repacking will probably fix it... unless theres another problem.

They're shot. Nothing you can do about it. When they get like that they're worthless. Being the nice fellow that I am I will be glad to take them off your hands and dispose of them myself. If you have a rear hub you had better send that to me too. Just in case it starts feeling like that too. Just send them to the same address as Superbe rings and cogs from Ebay.
we used to just take the axle out stuff grease and put back together and ride. that was then ...always try where others have failed.

they are loose bearing hubs - get replacement bearings and grease as per Ceya. Yojimbo's usually has parts like this, but if not check Uptown (or whatever the hell they are called now).

If you are feeling lazy, the charge at any lbs would be about $20. If the cones are grooved, considerably more. Doing it yourself, bearings about $2, grease, whatever you are willing to pay.

It could also be that they are set too tight.
BTW I have a pair of these I don't want anymore. PM me if you're interested.

Yeah, I sold two pairs of Suntour wheels as BIN items on eBay. Both sold super fast.
I listed my final set on CL and I received a bunch of emails. Sadly to say I didn't check them out prior to listing them.
I know squat about wheels so I better get 'em fixed!
what else do you have!!!!RG!!
