My IRO Mark V was way to small, when I got it, it was a gift and my friends didn't know any better. Neither did I! Now I have learned enough, and went and got "properly" fit and my LBS (Freerange cycles in fremont[Seattle])

Well my slightly smaller friend wants to buy my IRO so I sold some stuff on ebay and put that $$ ontop of the money I was going to get for selling the IRO and figured I would start shopping for a new bike

They had a pre-built Soma Rush already to go in a 57 (my size) ended up walking it back to work, after work I decided it would be a good idea if I threw my pedals on it and rode it home, only problem is, what do I do with my IRO?

I will let you all know how the whole Soma thing works out!

nice! i've had to do that a couple of times before. the trick is to remember that you require about 3 times as much clearance on your sides as you normally do.

good call on the soma too. if i were buying something new, i'd pick that up over the iro any day.

no joke! I had a few close calls, I tried to stick to sideroads so I wouldn't be a huge hassle to drivers, it was deffinately an adventure

switching the brake to the right hand eh?
not for long, I kept freaking out today grabbing for the non-existant brake with my left hand

It's been fun so far! Only complaints are the handlebars are WAY to wide for my liking (anyone want some soma track bars?) and I need to get a seatpost collar with a "captive" nut on one side, the one on there right now is free spinning and its a PAIN to adjust
