Hello everyone!

I am so excited that I finally found an online bike forum (I have been looking for several days). :p

My name is Mark, and I am new here (as you can see by my post count). I have been riding ever since I was a little boy (I am now 25). I am mainly a mountain biker, but occasionally I will hit the road with a couple friends.

I currently ride an Intense Tracer which you can see in the Come on then, show us your bike (http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=5489&perpage=15&pagenumber=8) thread. I also have an older Specialized steel frame Stumpjumper (great bike). I mainly ride up in the Santa Monica Mountains, being close to LA, but I am always open to a new trail adventure.

Thanks all!!! I look forward to being an active member of this forum!

Good to see a fellow So.Cal. rider here. I thought I might be the only one. Welcome to the forum. Lot of good people here, great site.

Heyup Shergomon

Wecome to the forum - I only just joined up myself.

Although most of my riding is around Oxford in the UK, my Fiancee lives in LA, and she found me an old Schwinn 10 speed racer last year (what a star!), so I have now explored some of LA by bike. The ride from Hermosa beach up to Santa Monica, then across by way of San Vicente and up Sepulveda to Mulholland drive was excellent. I'm not used to that much sunshine or such long hills!

Happy riding,

Ed
