Well, after the crash last Sunday, I screwed the pedals and the outer&middle chainring up. I went to my LBS on Monday and one hour and quite a bit of money after arriving, I left with the new parts. :) I liked the contrast between silver and black, don't know about you people. ;) Now, a week later, my father came back from Hungary with the camera and I was able to take some pics.

Crankset (Shimano Deore), RaceFace bashring and some OnOff pedals. :) I needed a new crankset because my old one was pretty bent and for 15 euros extra I was able to get a totally new one.

If you're hinting at the fact that I'm going to get shinned, well, too late. Yesterday I managed to slip off the right pedal and the pins ripped a long scar across my shin (15 cm long and about 3mm deep, painful). I do love the grip though. :D

Sorry I ment shiny as in new. Thats the best/worst thing about those type of pedals, you don't slip off them often - but you'll know about it when you do!

The spindle on those pedals looks like it'll break in in two seconds but they look very beefy at the same time. Sensory confusion :)

Ah right. :o Either way you were right, they're shiny and they shinned me. :p

Troie: Is the spindle that black part?

Hehe thanks. :) Should've seen the grin on my face when the guy at the LBS came out from the storeroom with the Race Face bashring. :D

what type of riding do you do with your hardrock? do you think a hardrock frame could handle 6 foot drops? (with tranny)
thanks

Hi! Well, I ride many things. :p Urban assault, freeride, trails, drops, all-mountain, dirtjumps, etc. The Hardrock frame is very strong and beefy, I'm pretty sure it'd take 6 foot drops to tranny, as long as you're not a hack, my biggest was around 4 foot to tranny so I can't be sure though. The Hardrock is a great bike and it's the frame that excels out of the parts. The frame would most likely be the last thing to worry about breaking (worry about the pedals first  ) :)
