Do any of you know of some other, lesser known and cheaper product that accomplishes the same thing as bodyglide. Don't say vaseline. I've used vaseline, it's okay, I prefer something else if possible.

Try Bag Balm, it's lanoline based, and remains effective for a long time. The standard 10 oz size canwill last you a couple of seasons or more, depending on how often you ride. The smell will earn you respect with other riders, you'll instantly be in the in crowd!

That's the one, it was originally made for cow utters to prevent painful chafing from milking machines. Cyclists like to claim it for their own, it's just lanoline, pure and safe for human use, and oh so effective for the long ride. Available at most drug stores.

Johnson's & Johnson's Daily Protection Cream ... found in the baby section of most department stores and pharmacies ... in Canada.

I'm not sure what the US equivalent is.
