I have an Avid Mechanical Disc brake (the road version), and am wondering if it will work properly using a BMX lever (Dia Comp Tech 77)? I'm using a MTB flat bar so I need an alternative to road levers and I have the BMX lever laying around. Thanks.

the only question is if the bmx levers have the right amount of pull, but It shouldn't be hard to just hok it up and try.
