Training & Nutrition - How much Resistance do Rollers provide?
Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I have started exercising on a set of CycleOps rollers (sans drag unit). I obviously feel the drag they add to my cycling, but I was curious exactly how much. Any way to figure out?

Roller resistance increases as the circumference of the roller decreases. You can also increase resistance with an integrated fan unit.
How much resistance? I don't have a measurement to contrast/compare to trainers. As a rule of thumb, trainers are the better bet for dialing in a higher resistance for interval training where rollers are the choice for developing form and endurance.
