Ive got a manitou black with handlebar lock out with 40 miles on it. When i unloaded my bike today to bring into the garage I notice the lockout isnt working. It still clicks in and clicks out but the fork never locks out. It worked today on the trail. I tried playing with the adjuster to increase decrease cable tension but nothing worked...how does this mechanism work? Anybody got a schematic? I figured it would be a simple detent inside the fork that rotates to allow flow or no flow in the compression direction...
Would something like this be warrantied? Afterall the fork/bike is less then a week old. Im gonna swing it by the bike shop tomorrow after work if I cant get it figured out sooner.
