Last night I went on a community bike ride where other riders from the community came out and rode about 20 KM's on bike paths and roads to show that it is possible to find safe paths for cyclists to get around our city. There were about 20 riders, male and female, even a couple of seniors, and before the ride everyone got a brand new Bell helmet, we cycled at a leisurely pace and we even had a couple of bike cops leading the way for us. It was a great time.
