Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - Battle of the saddles

As I am considering buying a new seat, your oppinions would be greatly appreciated.
I've done the search, read the results, and now would like to pose a question..

I was wondering what you ride and your thoughts.

Got it on my track bike. It's good for that. ANything longer than 40 minutes, well, I have no experience there on this saddle.

I have the Arione. It's still early in the game and a good amount of adjustment still needs to be done, but I like it. I have little experince with other pro level saddles though.

yeah it seems to me that an all plastic shell would lose its novelty reaaaly soon

I ride my Brooks B17...But I've also ridden the Selle Italia Flite in the past which I really like...

Honestly though...findind a seat that is for YOU is a crap shoot. Because what's good for me isn't always whats good for you (except for the Brooks saddles I've found, since they mold to your butt...just takes time).

I had a Nitrox on my DB and used it for 1 1/2 years, including many long rides. The saddle is great. Well-shaped, decent padding and priced right (meaning cheap). It's also relatively durable, but for the price vs. other saddles, who cares - just buy another when it wears out.

Different people with of course have very different results with saddles. Compounding the observations will be that a saddle suitable for one particular type of bike or setup will suck on another.

But here's my input, from a middle aged 220 lb rider who's more a masher than a spinner, doesn't ride the drops, typically goes 30 - 40 miles daily, wears the shorts for most of the time:

I have variety of old Selle Italia Turbos, six if I'm counting correctly, populating both geared and fixed rides, including my 1x1 and track. Classic shape, very comfortable.

I also have a B17 on my fixed Cross-Check. Very, very comfortable. I also have a B17 Narrow that I found uncomfortable on my X-Check but works very well on the Competition conversion.

I just got a Champion Flyer (sprung B17) for the Bridgestone XO-3. Limited ride time so far but positive. Bit more of a bounce.

The last comfy saddle I had was an Avocet O2. Left it on a road bike I sold, and now I wish I hadn't. I tried a few saddles after that: a Terry, a couple Selle Italias, a couple Selle San Marcos, a Specialized, and some other generic saddle. Didn't like any of them. Finally tried a Brooks, and after a couple days riding to break it in, it feels fantastic. It's wide in the back, to accomodate my seemingly wider-than-normal sitbones. Narrow in the front to make room for my massive muscaly thighs. It's kind of heavy though, so I think I'm going to splurge on the Swift with Ti rails.
