Managed to catch the last half-hour of the race at a friends and thoroughly enjoyed it. Quite a finish, and great to see a relative newcomer at the front.

I'm sitting in my living room, with the wife
watching the ride, waiting for the sprint.
All of a sudden here comes this rider off to
the right, making a break and I'm yelling
"Who the Hell is that?"
Day one, I'm loving this, only 3 weeks
isn't enough.

It's actually kind of like what happened in the recent Tour De Suisse. Alex Zulle won the prologue and then lost the leader's jersey when Eddie Lembo, a french sprinter won- also, a kid and not well known, from the Oktos team. Lembo bailed out when they hit the high alps and Zulle stayed in the lead for the duration and of course, won. This is probably what will happen- the sprinters will take over the lead until the alps and then Armstrong will likely win. However, I'm rooting for Zabel as usual. Go Zabel! And Jalabert of course- go Jaja!
