hey hey, im new so this might be because i did something stupid, but for some reason the chain keeps slipping in between the rear wheel and the cassette (i think thats the name) when i am in my lowest gear. im hoping nothing is bent or anything like that, but if anyone has some advice on this or they have experienced it before i'd love to hear about it. thanks in advance for any and all help.

Hello fellow newbie! I've adjusted derailers a few times, and it sounds like you just need to find the adjustment screw that sets the end of the travel. Do all the other gears work okay? If they're all off, you may need to adjust the length of the cable.

If you post the brand/model of your derailer, maybe someone with more experience can tell you exactly what to do!
