My RANS Rocket has one of those brackets for lights mounted on the front derailer tube. There are two little tube pieces on the bracket. The front one has a light on it.
I'm thinking of putting a wireless computer on the one closer to the handlebars. Anybody doing this already. It would put the sensor about 19" away from the computer, which should be fine. And the speed should be readable on most displays at that distance.

I've never been able to use a wireless on a SWB, even the Rocket. If you pull it off, please share how you did it! Plus, I need my computer on the handlebar where I can see it.

Here's a photo of what I was considering. The computer would go on the bracket by the top arrow. The sensor would go on the fork by the bottom arrow. Perhaps the run would be short enough to even used a wired version without the long wire option.
It seems like the handlbar would be so close that the computer couldn't be seen either. The bars have to be moved forward to see the grip shifter indicators.

I have always used a long wire harness and then had the computer on the handlebar near the grip shifter. I also have 2 head lights on the handlebar...I hang them underneath the bar, right close to the "stem". Everything seems to fit ok for me. I like your idea though and I think you should give it a try!
