Hello, I'm looking for a reasonable wireless computer for my bike. I've looked around and need to get some opinions on a good one to get. If anyone has any advice any help would be appreciated. I'd like to try and keep it under $40.

What are the benefits of wireless? Why not just go wired?

I don't know, what are the benefits of wireless? That's why I'm asking the folks that know there stuff. I just figured wireless would obviously be an easier installation, but do you end up sacrificing anything with this convenience?

What are the benefits of wireless? Why not just go wired?

Wireless can be easier to setup... especially given front suspension. It also produces a cleaner less cluttered installation. However wireless is not without its own set of problems due to possible interference issues although newer digitally coded transmitters seem to have solved a lot of that. Other possible problems with wireless is that it's another set of batteries and there are distance limitations as to how far the transmitter can be from the receiver-head. That said, I use a wired setup.

Setup issue? It took me about 5 minutes (w/o calibration) when I did my front suspension mountain bike. I guess there is a possibility of breaking the cord, but I've never heard of it.
