Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Just watch that chainring overlap or strike on the corners.
And it's got knobbies! I know, I know, it's the first every downhill-specific bike!

I'm seriously considering making up a chainring from some of these templates and running something like 64t/23t, assuming I can fit it with the chainstay (though its an old frame, I wouldn't mind 'modifying' the chainstay if necessary.

If I could find track cogs bigger than 23t, I'll do even more. Supposedly cassette cogs come in up to 34, but I haven't seen them yet... a 92t/34t would look crazy. ;)
peace,
