In an effort to make my bike more XC oriented (http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=113224), Nashbar has approved the return of the Black Super Air 120mm. So with that taken care of, Im in the market for a 100mm fork designed for XC.

These are the current candidates:

Marzocchi MX Comp ETA 105mm - $249 (http://www.nashbar.com/profile.cfm?category=86&subcategory=1183&brand=&sku=14730&storetype=&estoreid=&pagename=)

RockShox Psylo XC 80-125 Adjustable - $249 (http://www.nashbar.com/profile.cfm?category=86&subcategory=1183&brand=&sku=13885&storetype=&estoreid=&pagename=)

RockShox Reba SL Adjustable? - $329 (http://www.pricepoint.com/detail/13842-315_ROCRL5-3-Parts-59-Forks/Accessories/2005-Rock-Shox-Reba-SL.htm)

Marzocchi MX Pro ETA 105 - $299 (http://www.jensonusa.com/store/product/FK603A00-Marzocchi+Mx+Pro+105+Eta+05.aspx)

Any suggestions?

I'd probably go for the Reba or the MX Pro ETA.

And between those two?

Why not add the FOX FRLT or the Talas? Both are great forks.

Of the ones you mentioned I would second the MXPro ETA.

What the heck? They let you return a used fork because you didn't want it anymore? That's pretty sweet. I always thought people complained about Nashbar service. Might be performance though...

But anyways, of those, I would pick the Reba.

Ill second the Reba. Its the best out of the list you posted.

I would pick a fox RLT or an F100X though.

I want a Reba. Of course if I get a new fork then there would have to be other changes....... Figures I need to put a new roof on <grumble>

Cool huh. Actually they will return anything up to 12 months old. I called to make sure that I wouldnt get penalized because the fork was used and they said it wouldnt be a problem. Gave me an rma# in two seconds and I shipped it out yesterday.

Would you pick the Reba SL over the Zocchi MX Pro ETA?

I'd actually go with the MX Pro ETA, but that's just me. :)

Because of the price.

Check eBay. Fox forx are superior in every way to those you listed and, occasionally, you can get great deals on them through eBay. Last year I picked up a brand new, 2005 Fox TALUS RLC, uncut, still in the box with all the tags, for $429+shipping. Not bad for a fork that retails for almost $700.

I'll be fine. Besides, that leaves room for nicer things in the future. Ordered the SL today, pics after its installed.

Until then, Im taking a week break from the forums.
