I'm about to buy a set of black Mavic bullhorns pretty cheap. Anyone know of these Mavic's? Are they any good?

I've seen them but never used them. They look nice enough. I'd certainly pick some up if I found a good price on them.

If you can get a good price, go for it. Prices for Mavic stuff continue to climb as it becomes more and more popular. If that doesn't work, I'm very happy with my set of Syntace streamliner bullhorns, which can also be purchased off of chucksbikes.com badged as "Toro" brand. Good luck.

I have the mavic bullhorns. They are very stiff for their weight and they look great. They have some strange hand positions (especially on the diagonal dropping section just before the bends) and really stretch you out so they may not be for everyone. I myself love them though

According to House of Track (http://www.houseoftrack.com), the Nitto base bars are a close approximation of the Mavic 'horns.

The Nitto bars are very similar, but not as stiff as the Mavic bars. I had a set and, stupidly, sold them to MattyO.

m.Please do not mention houseoftrack. It might make someone think about buying from there which I strongly advice against.
