I have just joined the ranks of two bikes - do I buy a second bike computer - Or can I just get a second "thing" - the rest of the business that stays on the bike?

I know that Cateye sells bracket kits for their computers, but I don't know about other brands.

Just buy the second mounting thingy for your other bike. Most computers allow you to program at least two sets of wheel circumferences when using on two different bikes.
