Mountain Biking - My first mountain bike
Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Last week, I bought a Diamondback Response. I rode it once and everything seemed OK. I rode it again and, to make a long story short, the thing was screwed up bad. I returned it, the mechanic felt bad for giving me a POS, and he gave me a great deal on the Response Sport and threw in a discount on some swag.
For $338, I got this bike:
As far as I can tell, it usually retails for about $440 - $450. I love the bike and the price, so I am happy.
Good for you. Thats all that matters.
it should do you well, enjoy it.
remember, it's not the bike, it's the rider. so get out there and increase your skills and have fun. unless your jumping stuff, that bike should hold up well. take care of it and it will last longer.

Well done and congratulations, Socrates.
When you're out in the woods, cedar and birch trees are no threatójust remember to stay away from the hemlock.
