General Cycling Discussion - Announcing new addition to the family

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

26 lbs 3 oz, 15" Trek 7500FX yr. 2001 model. We spent the weekend bonding. Got it on sale almost half price because they really wanted to get rid of it! NOW I understand what speed and responsiveness means--wow! What a joy.
I think I need to make some adjustments though... my arms get stretched out too much leading to elbow pain... are there choices in handle bars for this type of bike perhaps that offer different hand positions?

Don't know the bike, but would assume you might be able to get a shorter reach stem.
Enjoy your new addition!
