Greetings all!

I've been lurking on this forum for a week or so, so I figured it was time for me to register. I'm impressed with the content and activity of the forums here and am quickly realizing how little I know about cycling. But my wife and I (at my urging) picked up 2 Specialized Hardrocks a little over a year ago and at least one of us is using his more and more, so I'm peeking around here to see what I can learn.

I've been doing the same thing here jcg878, just lurking around. It definitely is an impressive site and I'm amazed at how many people are on here every day. It's amazing all the information that can be gathered in this forum, definitely more information then I ever thought existed on bikes. So how much riding do you generally do a week?

Well just wanted to say hi since we're both newbies here.

Hi deyoung,

I am pretty novice, riding 2x/week, around 10-15 miles per ride. Now that it's summer and my workload is decreasing I hope to go out more, further, and on more unpaved roads!

That is actually Arrowhead Lake in the Poconos. I do a lot of my weekend riding up there - we're going to Jim Thorpe Saturday :) I do bike around the Cooper River a lot - I grew up in Collingswood and my brother is still there, so we'll bike around it and into Cherry Hill/Haddonfield sometimes.
