I am having a lot of trouble finding a 44t chainring from an online source. Anyone have any suggestions?

Sheldon Brown tells how to (http://www.sheldonbrown.com/gloss_bo-z.html) determine BCD. All you need is a ruler.

Interesting. Not a track crank. Business Cycles (http://www.businesscycles.com/trcomp.htm#chainrings) sells some chainrings that would work.

I've bought two chainrings for my 2005 Pista with a 130mm star from Sheldon Brown.
They work great and I like the price.
I know the Sugino and the Sugino/SR chainrings fit the Pista's Sugino RD crank perfectly.
TomD at Sheldon's can tell you which rings fit what.
I moved the ring to the outer position and flipped my EAI and Soma cogs so they had the flange inboard, and it gives me a perfrect chainline.
If you put the ring on the outer position, you'll need some shims for the retaining nuts.
The shims look like washers but they fit perfectly.
They come in two sizes.
Get the larger size.

Sorry to highjack, but does anyone have a resonably specific date which Phil is going to start selling their cogs? (I don't think this deserves it's own thread, tell me if I'm wrong.)

Check www.peterwhitecycles.com. They have TA Alize 1/8" track chainrings in 130 BCD, and they come small like 44 (and I believe smaller, down to 38). Not dirt cheap, but they last forever, are beautifully made, and are a lot cheaper than Dura Ace. They also have 3/32" rings if you prefer. John Dacey at Business Cycles has some of these track rings as well, but Peter White has the full line including the sizes you'd like to have for fixies.
