Anyone have any experience with this frame? I'm looking for an affordable steel frame and this one's available at closeout for $395 here: http://www.redroseimports.com/rri_olmo_garap_s.html

yeah, I've been riding mine for about a year and a half now. It's a great frame. The blue doesn't photograph well, but in the sun it just about glows -- it's a transparent blue topcoat over a pearl white base. The rear track ends are kind of short, so running a double fixed hub with different cogs you would probably be limited to a two tooth difference before you had to shorten the chain. $395 is a great price for this fine frame.
Thanks. Is it drilled for a brake in front? And how would you describe the geometry? True track? Streetish track? The website makes it seem like all their non-sloping Olmo frames have the same geometry.
The Gara Pista is a beautiful frame. It's track, with no drillings for brakes. It's Dedaccai Cromoly tubing which is sturdy stuff. If I didn't already have a nice frame, I'd pick that up for that price.
if you're near Lancaster, PA, Red Rose Imports also has a shop, Era Ski & Bike, you could probably check out the frame first hand.

I looked into this a few weeks ago but they didn't have my size (54 cm)
This price can't be beat.
Yeah, they're totally sold out at this point. Will have to look elsewhere. Thanks for the input.
