Hi guys I just got my warranty frame in today. It looks like Kona did something to be nice, they sent me a King Kikapu frame. Originally they gave me the choice of paying for the King or getting the 05 Kikapu frame and having to buy a new shock. I decided to take the 05 frame because it would be cheaper in the long run. Well I got the call today and the frame is beautiful, but I am concerned. I am not the lightest rider, I weigh about 205. Is this lighter tubeset going to be a problem or is just as strong as the other frame,

Casey

I road a KingKikapu when I was 260 for 1 yr. The only problem/complaint is the large chainring would always hit the stays if i got out of the saddle to power up a hill or on flats in the highest gears. Other then that it worked great.

How smooth of a rider are you?

If you are asking about my cadence, I am a power peddler ;) I use my size and strength rather then sit and spin. I can climb as well as the spinners but my style is different. Does that answer your question?
