Right now I currently race XC. I only use a Rock Shox Jett. If the comfort issue doesnt bother me, is there anything i should be worried about? Strength or anything.
Also the lowest parts on my bike are LX. These are raceworthy right?

Jett should be fine if your happy with it and you don't feel like you need lock-out or other features. Strength shouldn't be a problem if your only doing XC. And yes, LX are raceable.

The Jett is limited in adjustability, but as long as you are comfortable with the feel, it'll be fine for racing. The more expensive forks have more adjustability and lower weight. Does that mean you have to go out and get a $700.00 fork? NO WAY!

Last year I raced on a used, $300 Raleigh M80 with a Jett fork and LX components. I consistently finished in the top 5 with this bike until upgrade fever hit and the fork was swapped for a Manitou Mars Elite.
The Jett is adequate at the beginner level. I raced at 170 lbs. last year and it flexed quite a bit under me, so much so that the brake pads would rub against the rim when I sprinted out of the saddle. At 4.5 lbs. it's heavy by race-fork standards (3.1 for a Mars, 2.8 for a SID) and the elastomers that provide the spring get stiff below 60 degrees F. As you know, it only has preload adjustment.
If this sounds low-end, well it is. That doesn't mean that you can't be competitive. The rider makes much more of a difference at the beginner level than does the bike. As you get faster you'll understand why you want/need a better fork. The Jett is better than a rigid and is pretty good with small bumps when it's warm. Big bumps give it trouble, as do fast downhills, because it lacks any compression dampening. End of Jett review.
LX are great components for the money. I currently run an LX crank which is about $40 cheaper than XT, but only 9 grams heavier. I also use LX brake levers and shifters, which perform flawlessly and are within grams of XT and XTR. I raced LX front and rear ders last season and they were bulletproof.
Your bike is outfitted fine. Don't sweat the fork until you are sure you are outriding it. You may reach a point in the future where it is holding you back, but until then don't use it as an excuse.

My mate races XC with an old RS Quadra 5! It doesn't bother him as he says the less complex it is, the less chance it has of breaking.
As for LX shifters - they, in my opinion, are far and away better than XT shifters. They are just so smooth. I would advise anyone who is thinking of upgrading from LX to XT shifters not to bother, and go and spend their money on something which would enhance the bikes performance more. :)

Tuesday some guy on a CCM rigid frame and fork was waiting for all of us....
Rolland Green would still be fast on a tricycle!
