can anyone tell me what is the best way to strip and respray my bike, at present it is blue but i want it black so that it can match my forks... expected delivery in 5 days.

Start with a search of the forums, as this has been discussed several times.

Is the original finish uneven/damaged? If not, you might be able to remove any decals, scuff it up and then respray without a total strip.
Just a thought.
