Whatz up everyone!
My name is David and I just picked up my first bike again since I was 12 yrs old. I got a new red Nirve Switchblade. I never thought of owning another bicycle because I currently own 3 motorcycles (Ducati, Aprilia, and Yamaha). I was on a surf trip down in San Diego and pruchased a Electra Hawaii bike for my wife as a gift and saw the Nirve Switchblade. Man I fell in love with that beautiful looking bike and I just had to have it but the stores wanted too much $550. So, when I came back to Vegas I seached around town and found they were available at Sports Chalet for $429 and I picked one up.
Right now I am trying to get used to going from a motorcyle to a bicycle. I'm thinking of adding a motor to the bike and looking at the frame of the Switchblade it looks like it is very possible. I saw a setup from Kings motor bikes and was very interested in getting one to put onto my new bike. Has anyone here have any experience or opinions with putting a motor of that type onto a bike?
Another concern with putting the motor is that my bike uses a reverse brake system. Is it possible to put one of the Avid disk systems on my Nirve bike?
Thanks,
David
