(Italian site with lots of pics and animations. Probably not 56K friendly)

do you think the unusual geometry of these frames could be an improvement? I'm questioning whether the bike would be as naturally stable as one with positive caster.
I have a chrome bmx frame that could be built up like this by modifying the fork and using a 16" front wheel. Thinking about it.

I bet it's easier to steer, that front wheel geometry is like the caster on a table or a chair, it will line up in the direction of travel with almost no effort.

looks like an endo waiting to happen... especially on the MTB

the seatpost also looks goofy, i don't understand the purpose.. yeah adjustability, but you should buy a frame that fits you, not have to adjust your seat 6" front to back...

Definitely looks interesting... although I looked @ the ergonomy of it... looks like a pain in the crotch for longer rides :B

At high speed yes, at low speed no.
Should also be easier to ride no handed.

Many recumbents have negative rake/trail.
Cal tech Prof. William Patterson has several negative trail bikes:
