Mountain Biking - Read any good books lately?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I'm new to the cycling world and I'd like to learn more about how to maintain/repair a mountain bike. Can anyone recommend a good book to guide me through bike repairs?

I too am new to this and went to my local library to see what they had. I ended up checking out a new book, published just last year, called "Mountain Bike Maintenance: The Illustrated Manual" by Mel Allwood. I think I am going to buy this book because it is really good, and easy to understand with great pictures. I just looked it up on Amazon.com and it has great reviews there as well.
Mountain Bike Maintenance (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/155297734X/qid=1118980555/sr=1-3/ref=sr_1_3/104-0619462-9631920?v=glance&s=books)
Check to see what your library has or local book store and take the time to look through some books, but I would say it is hard to get much better than this for a beginners book.
