I found a 1990s (not sure what year exactly) Giant Kronos on sale used for $150. I'm going to look at it this weekend sometime, and want to know if there's any questions I should ask about it or things I should look for first. Here's what I know about it so far:
The frame is cro-moly and lugged but still fairly light weight. It does not have the original Bio-Pace chainrings. I recently put a new adjustable stem on the bicycle and have the original stem as well. I also have a slightly larger chainring than the largest chainring one on the bike to go with it.
i intend to make it ugly and use it as a secondary commuter incase my trek t80 gets broken/stolen or i'm going somewhere where i'd rather not bring a $600 bike with an expensive type name painted on the frame. what do you guys say?
