Bicycle Mechanics - Pulley fool
Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Took apart my rear mech to replace pulleys. Have now forgotten which pulley goes where. I'm guessing that the one marked G-pulley is the guide.
(See what they did there? - make an innocuous little part sound far more hi-tech with just one letter. Shimano - geniuses, the lot of 'em.)
Guide pulley on top Jockey pulley on the bottom.
Sorry, should have made my request more clear: I know the guide goes on top etc. but I don't know for definite if the one marked G-pulley is indeed the guide.
...for a shimano derailleur.
