Took apart my rear mech to replace pulleys. Have now forgotten which pulley goes where. I'm guessing that the one marked G-pulley is the guide.
(See what they did there? - make an innocuous little part sound far more hi-tech with just one letter. Shimano - geniuses, the lot of 'em.)

Guide pulley on top Jockey pulley on the bottom.

Sorry, should have made my request more clear: I know the guide goes on top etc. but I don't know for definite if the one marked G-pulley is indeed the guide.
