As a company we have lost two riders (one training one in the MS150) during the past month due to unfortunate accidents. We wanted to wear something during our race (July 9) as a way of raising awareness that we all need to share the road. I need a slogan that sums this up in 23 characters spaces included. Any help will be greatly appreciated!! Who knows if we come up with a good enough slogan I will have extra made up for this forum group to spread the word!

So you think creating 4 identical threads will get the suggestions rolling in faster?

It's our road too
We belong on the road
ride the roads together
Ours Together

Not exactly genius, but maybe there's something there. I hope your friends are, or will be, okay.

I mean it in the live - like liveSTRONG - not sure if its the one to go with I really like; Dare to Share!

To let the forum know - the two riders I spoke of, died. The guy on the training ride was in colorado and the one that was on the ms150 was from Pitt. We wanted to show our support to the family by coming up with a band and to raise awareness. There are some crazy drivers out there that think they own the road and are self centered drivers. I am very very new to the sport and have fallen in love with it, I dont plan on giving it up --- and I dont want to get hurt or worse die. I am sure everyone on this forum has had close calls and I have had only one - would rather us all share.

I'd be interested in having one; let's see if my feeble mind can come up with a slogan

"remember the roadies."

...was trying to think of something that worked to memorialize your coworkers and to get cars to watch for us

roadmule

edit: I guess "remember the riders." would be more easily understood by common motorists.

You want to wear a slogan on your back while riding? A traffic sign gets attention. How about:

No Parking - as in don't park your car on me
Yield to Bicycles - self explanatory
Slow Moving Vehicle - after all, you're a vehicle
Reduced Speed Zone - slow down! the zone is wherever the bicycle is!

Or how about something patriotic, like "Don't tread on me"?

Not my original idea--this is from a Seattle bike store: "One More Parking Space."
