Any tips or magic solutions to get old decals/stickers off a frame before painting? Or am I stuck with slow, tedious scraping?

Sometimes a hair dryer can loosen up old, dried glue. Shouldn't hurt to try, anyway. WD-40 also can be used (although because it's flammable I would be judicious about using it in combination with the heat source), and I also have used some sort of automotive "bug remover."

Whatever floats one's boat..Just don't understand. Sorta proud of my Klein..Klein people stick together..As for me, why would i take a label off of something I sought...
I know pretty ordinary bike compared to a Colgano.

Peel it off slowly then use tape on and off to remove the remaining adhesive
You can aslo try WD40 like someone else mentioned or one of those "orange" cleaner

I want the stickers off a) because they're purple, b) because they're old and trashy looking, and c) because I don't want to paint over them. I suppose if I had a Klein I wouldn't be to worried about any of the above. As it is, I want to get what remains of the stickers off.

The adhesive is no problem, it's justing getting the stickers themselves off that is giving me trouble. I'll try the heat gun approach and see how that works.
