Pink! :D I think you will have to buy a regular one, use sand paper to take the paint off, put primer on, and then spray paint it. Then put some spray-on clearcoat to prevent easy scratches.

you could try some gold leaf, I was just reading in popular science about how to apply that stuff, it might work...http://www.popsci.com/popsci/how2/article/0,20967,1057166,00.html

:edit: but seriously, if you want that brand I would email them and ask if they make one that size and where to get it, otherwise you could get one the size you want and find someone to powdercoat it gold, that would work pretty well, I would think it would be pretty cheap.

yea but powdercoating adds a lot of thickness to the piece your working on and if it has to be right at 30mm that will be an issue

You could just have the inner rim, the part that would be contacting the bike, not done, but of course taking off whatever old stuff may have given you some play room too, though I can't say how much. Another option is getting it anodized, I just don't know how easily accessable that is.

Amazingly, all mine end-up being a "dirt" brown color for some reason....

Wow. Just WOW
Form should always follow function.
Unless you're planning on running spinners w/ low pros and you think the Gold Trim package on Toyotas looks good, or you like to ride with your bright white K-Swiss nobody is really going to notice what color your seat clamp is.

Salsa makes gold binders, I'm not sure if they make a collar.

Note that the original post was asking about part availability, not soliciting opinions about color coordination. Like this guy cares what we think of his bike's aesthetics.

OK, when "they" say there are no stupid questions...nevermind.

I do, however, have an answer to your question: Salsa makes a "gold" skewer. I know because I bought one on sale a couple of years back. I had to return it because it was the wrong size but I still have a Salso skewer on my bike now and I love it.

I'm not sure that applies in this situation, he wasn't saying "hey I am gonna get this seat clamp that sucks over this one which is great just because it is gold", he was just trying to find the seat clamp he wants in gold if he can.

Call me captain obvious, but I believe he intended to get the Hope model. But they do not offer it in a 30 mm size. And I am like this guy, If I think it's cool, I will get it, cause It's my bike!

Whoah, that custom flame seat post is awesome. Wonder how much it'd be for some custom handlebars and stem...

um, get the 31.8mm hope clamp and shim ithe #$%# thing. i'm surprised no one has thought of this one yet......

easy to do. beer/popcan alu shim. play with it until you have things tight enough to not slip. it won't do a thing to harm the steelhead frame.
