hey does anyone have any advice about this issue....i have a proper lock ring removal wrench but mine wont budge....i know this isnt a complicated matter but im stuck.....

Blowtorch? Whiskey?
Those have been known to work for me in the past. Unfortunatly, it took awhile for the blowtorch to work - it didn't come off right then, it was a few days later when I was skidding towards a red light...
Yeah, probably don't take my advice.

what about spraying some wd-40 to try to lossen the lock ring a bit would that help?

WD40 probably wouldn't help, but some 3-in one pentrating oil might....

don't let wd-40 touch your bike in my opinion. It collects crap that results in all kinds of horrible noises.

i vote cheater bar--slip a longish piece of pipe over the handle of yr lockring tool, making it longer. more length equals more torque (force applied to a rotational body--it increases the further from the center of rotation. which is why doorknobs are far away from hinges).

ok i got the lock ring off how about the cog.....i have a chain whip but im pretty inept at bike mechanics so....again im stuck

wrap the chainwhip around the cog and wrench it off. cogs turn normal ways, meaning lefty loosen, righty tighty.

just put the wheel back on the bike and stomp the pedals in the reverse direction, or try to backpedal going down a hill, it'll come off

hahaha....i appreciate the advice but i tried that already....crankeed it hard into a nice 5 foot skid and nothing not even a budge....looke like im stuck for now

Isn't it fairly easy to strip your hub if you back pedal without a lock ring?

OK WD is the king of saving things. Not good on chains but a great degreaser/penetrating oil. If I were you try the hammer and chisle technique maybe! Or go to shop
