Yesterday, I took my bike to get a tire, and a couple of spoke fixed, I got it back the same day, the tire needed a new tube, the spoke broke today, because the chain jumped and went into the spokes, and the whole bike came to a screeching halt, should I go back to the shop, and ask them to fix it again, if I do should I have to pay for a new repair, I need a wheel protector to stop the chain from jumping into the spokes, which iam prepared to pay for.

If the chain went in too far and broke the spoke, I wouldn't blame the LBS. You really don't need a spoke protector either. The rear derailleur stop just needs adjusting.

Glad it worked for you Crazy. :)
Hope you get your spoke fixed soon. Maybe they'll give you a break for being a repeat customer! :D

I'd go back and talk to them about it. I've never had any problems getting fixed on my bike in those circumstances. A good shop will understand that they are not totally infallible and will put it right.

I personally thinks the protector is worth it. It's like an insurance policy. You don't really need it, but if your chain skip you won't get hurt.
